Tips for Packing Carbide Safely

  • Use a sturdy double-walled cardboard box or 5-gallon bucket with a secure lid.
  • Wrap sharp cutting tools in newspaper or bubble wrap to prevent punctures.
  • Keep different material types separated if possible (carbide, HSS, steel).
  • Ensure the box is rated for the weight — carbide is very heavy for its size.
  • Seal all seams with packing tape and clearly label the package.
